Stephen
Covey one of the greatest authors of success literature passed away
in the age of 79 today. The idea of his most famous book “The 7
Habits of High Effective People”, a book that it is considered to
the most influential books ever written, came first in the 70's.
Their the author from Utah, who later sold more than 20 million books
wrote a doctor thesis about 200 years of success literature. And out
of the great wisdom of this man a model, simple in it's understanding
and astonishing in it's power was created: The Seven Habits Paradigm.
Reading the 7 habits allows you to move from dependence on
Independence to finally “Interdependence”.
I
took this journey not so long ago. I was on a seminar and heard a
lesson about teamwork and their the Trainer mentioned the term
Interdependence and Steve Covey. My curiousness grew and the hunger
of study his work was there. A high sense of Independence I already
felt for myself but those Interdependence, a state that requires
Independence was what really unlocked untapped resources within me.
“Seek first to be Understand – then to be understood”,
“Synergize” and my favorite “Think Win / Win” are those steps
that allow you to get the best out of a team, a group, a family and
discover new heights of success.

Robbins said “Fundamentals are the key to success. Stephen R. Covey
is a master of them”. With his habits he made millions of people
more successful, he brought peace into thousands of organizations and
team around the world. But he also understand to contribute to
peoples personal lives, demonstrate that his fundamentals fit to
families and education of children as well. This man won an
international Man of Peace award, one a national Fatherhood Award and
was mentioned by Time Magazine to the 25 most influential Americans.
With
Stephen R. Covey the world lost an outstanding man but his literature
will inspire generations!

einer der großartigsten Autoren von Erfolgsliteratur ist heute im
Alter von 79 Jahren verstorben. Die Idee seines berühmtesten Buches,
„Die 7 Wege zur Effektivität“ das zu den einflussreichsten
Büchern die je geschrieben wurden, zählt, hatte er bereits in den
70ern. Damals hatte der aus Utah stammende Autor eine Doktorarbeit
über Erfolgsliteratur aus 200 jährige Geschichte verfasst. Und aus
der Weisheit dieses großartigen Menschen ist ein Modell entstanden
das simpel aufzufassen und beeindruckend in seiner Stärke ist: „The
Seven Habits Pradigm“. Wenn du „Die 7 Wege zur Effektivität“
ließt so hast du die Möglichkeit auf eine Reise von Abhängigkeit
zur Unabhängigkeit und schließlich zur „Inter-Unabhängigkeit“
reisen kannst.
Ich habe die
Reise vor nicht allzu langer Zeit unternommen. Ich war in einen
Seminar, es ging um das Thema Teamwork und die Trainerin hat das Wort
„Inter-Unabhängigkeit“ bzw. „Interdependence“ in
Zusammenhang mit Stpehen R. Covey verwendet. Meine Neugierde stieg
rasant an und der Hunger das Buch zu studieren war da. Ein hohes Maß
an Unabhängigkeit konnte ich bereits in mir fühlen, doch diese
„Inter-Unabhängigkeit“ war es, die unbekannte Ressourcen in mir
anzapfte. Die Schritte dazu lauten „Seek first to understand –
then to be understood“, „Synergize“ und mein Favorit „Think
Win / Win“ sind jene Schritte die dir erlauben das Beste aus einem
Team, einer Gruppe oder Familie herauszuholen und neue Höhen von
Erfolg entdecken lassen.
Tony Robbins hat
gesagt „Grundsätze sind der Schlüssel zum Erfolg. Und Stephen R.
Covey ist ein Meister darüber.“ Mit seinen Grundsätzen hatte er
Millionen von Menschen erfolgreicher gemacht. Er hat Frieden in
tausende von Organisationen und Teams weltweit gebracht. Aber er hat
es auch verstanden das persönliche Leben vieler Menschen zu
verbessern, Familien und Erziehung, wo sich diese Grundsätze ebenso
gut anwenden lassen verbessert. Dieser Mann hat einen internationalen
„Man of Peace“-Award gewonnen, einen nationalen Vaterschaft Award
und wurde vom Time Magazin zu den 25 einflussreichsten Amerikanern
gezählt.
Mit Stephen R.
Covey hat die Welt einen großartigen Menschen verloren, doch seine
Literatur wird noch Generationen inspirieren!
